Updates!!
Friday already! Time is flying by. So on Wednesday me and some other girls went to lunch at applebees which beautiful :) gave us a chance to have a look around and get to know each other. So then we had a thing to go to, which was held at vista way. Talk about paperwork :/ there are like different stations and you have to slowly move round them all. But at the end of it you left with a card. Your housing/bus ID which btw does have a photo on, mine is terrible but I'll upload a pic later anyways!!! This replaces your paper on you get on the first day!!! But it does make it seem more real! Haha then our stupid bus driver was late and didn't drop us off where we needed to be so we were 1/2 hr late for presentations, so we had to sneak in the back and stand up.....not cool! But the presentations were just general stuff about housing etc...phone numbers and upcoming events, for which we were all given a calendar to put up at home! After this we braved wal mart....huge mistake!!! Nearly cried in the milk isle, haha it's a long way there and a long way back, it was raing the buses are packed to the brim and there is a lot of waiting around, the food is all different, you can't carry all your bags and there heavy!!! Was a massive fail!!!! From now on I'm going to wheel my carry on bag down to publix and shop there!! This took so long that we missed a lot of our evening and were very tried but my flat ate invited me to go to downtown Disney for dinner so off we went, had a really good time, I love the atmosphere at dtd we ate at earl of sandwich, which is basically a posh subway!! Hahah after that I went straight to bed! The next day was a earlier start, down to the commons clubhouse. First we were all inspected to. Make Sure we complied with the 'Disney look'!!!! If you didn't you had that day to sort it out like dying hair etc.... Luckily I passed :) then we went into the room where we had to find out seat alphabetically!! Which was a wee bit confusing, but once I sat down and looked in front of me there it was Location: Magic Kingdom!!! Ahh was so excited to be working there. Then came paperwork, paperwork and a little more paperwork, they did treat us a ill bit like children when filling it in, but hey it all gets done, then we had some boring chat about immigration before we could go off for lunch, we decided to go to the food cour at the outlet centre as that just across the road from the commons, so that was niceeee then we walked down to t mobile to sort out American sim cards so we can contact each other easier, this got sorted fine :) now I'm in contact with the USA!! Hahah after this I went and soaked my feet in the pool for a bit, as they are soooo sore!! Then we had more paperwork time!!!! So we knew our traditions classes and found out a little more detail about our jobs I'm working in Fantasyland :) yay was very exciting, we got our initial training schedule and location I don't start till Tuesday which means plenty of time to have fun :) they talked to us about shoes and we got out payroll visa cards :) then it was time for a pool party!! Which was literally the most amazing thing ever!! Free dominos pizza, free drinks, music, dance floor and of course the pool!!! Hahaha it rained nearly the whole time but tbh I think it made it better as people didn't care and just got into it, my feet hurt from the dancing this morning tho haha but it was worth it was literally the best thing ever!!!! Then a few people came to chill At mine for a while before we all headed to bed! Today is traditions, so got my formal wear out and I. Ready for my namesake and pass :) yay I'll catch up later

Arrived!
Ok so arrive at heathrow to face ques ques ques!!!! When travelling on a visa you can't do online checkin so it took ages! You get interrogated on the line with security questions and more once you finally get to a desk, where my baggage was 'oversized' I measured it and it seemed fine, but I then had to take it to another area to get it thru! Made it past security and met up with a couple of other Disney gooers on my flight! Then came a delay! Luckily it didn't last long and we could board the flight. We weren't sitting together but as it was early I think we all wanted to sleep anyways. So the. Comes the 8 hour flight to Atlanta, I have done much longer flights before but they felt twice as quick as this one! It seemed to go on 4eva!!!! I never thought we would land! So my first time flying with delta, so I wasn't sure what to expect, for other international flights I have flown virgin, emeritus and BA. So this one, the seats were uncomfortable and the tv system was tiny, and not all that good! Every time there was an annocement it would like take literally 15 mins for my screen to. One back on, at one point it stop working altoghrther ,so I turned on the assistance button which subsequently was on for 3 hours before a steward noticed! By that point I had found someone to reboot it for me. I was woken up but a stewardess ramming a cart into my knee as they brought round the beverages and food! A first we were offered nuts or pretzels and a drink, no issues there, then your main 'lunch' where there was a choice of chicken or pasta, I choose chicken, which consisted of a salad that was the most vile things I have ever tasted! Bread roll with butter, which was unspreadbale due to its near frozen state, crackers and cheese of which I thoroughly enjoyed! Then the main dish, which apparently is where you play a game of 'guess the food' as what I was given was unreqnisable to anything I have eaten before, even once eating I couldn't tell you what it was! The green stuff was hideous! The yellow was ok in small bits and the chicken itself was cooked nicely but unfortunately soaking in a less than appetising sauce! Tea and further snacks were served still nuts or pretzels. Then later we had pizza, which was lovely and ice cream to die for! Those were the best parts of the food! The bathrooms made you feel dirty it was terrible! But unfortunately to need to use them was there! At around two hours until landing I decided to freshen up! Due to the lack of space in them I ended up dropping all th contents of my bag and my hairbrush fell down the loo! Yes I will be Visiting mart on arrive to replace this! As for the seatbelt sign it went on/off more times than I could bare to. Count! As for the headphones, apart from having to niggle them constantly to get a good ish sound after a while one side just decided not to work at all! Eventually followed by the other at which point i gave up we had only 45mins left at that point But the fact is this flight managed to safely get me from England to America and so complaining is not worth it.
The goodbyes in London were very hard, so hopefully they will all be worth it! Can't believe how quickly this has all come along!
So arrive I. Atlanta! Which means one thing immigration! Why do you always feel interrogated? The guy was not overly friendly but luckily it didn't last too long, picture, prints x# of questions and we were round to baggage claim. Only to drop the bags straight back off again, then security again! The bloke was very nice, talking abut the weather in England, then had to go through a body scanner, which is odd, but again nice staff having a laugh talking about my tattoo and how cold the floors were!! Then we all headed to dunkin donuts to start the American experience properly! Was beaut! Little look around shops etc and before you know it your waiting at the gate for another plane! Been up so far for 17 hours and still going! (10:30 gmt). Take off and the initial begginging of the internal flight did not make me feel well!!! I'm writing this as I go to post later so right now we've juts been told there is huge storms and so the flight will be longer for safety! Sick of planes right now.....
Ok it's now 10:43 am on 06/06/12. So luckily for the rest of the plane I slept and slept and slept :) then finally we had landed in Orlando!!!!! Bcoz we did customs in Atlanta we got straight thru to baggage claim :) then off to the mears shuttle bus was lucky for us was just arriving! Some people had been waiting for over an hour :/ it was a Disney cruise ship coach which got us all in the mood!! We arrived at vista way, for the check in process. So first you have to line up in the line that matches e letter of your first name, they give you a number and a tag, you tag your bag then take your number to a different desk, where you get a program guide, some washing powder and you apartment key! I'm at Patterson court!!! Then though to another holding room where they provide snacks :) and you get a chance to meet others talk about where you'll be living etc before watching a short video about the first few days. We were given a temporary housing entice thingy and an iteniary. I was lucky that I didn't need to be anywhere until 2pm! On the 6th so plenty of time to settle in. Your driven to yr housing complex, by this pint your knackerd' it was like 9isj (lt) so 2am (gmt) so I get there and nobody's home....but there is stuff in all the rooms, so I waiting and then Kamy from hong kong came in, so we decided to share a room, in my flat there are three girls from hong kong and other two from the UK. It's soooooo big!!!! Like huge apartment and fridge and walk in wardrobe it's just massive all round :) then we got the bus to Walmart and which point I was sooo tired I hardly bought anything, so am going to go back tonight. Got back around midnight (lt) 5am(gmt) for me? So I went straight to bed!!! This morning we had a little look around got to know each others and set up the wi fi :) off for lunch now before meeting. Bye for now

Hello,
Well it's 19 days until I leave finally counting down in the teens!!!!
Last week was my 21st birthday, so now I can legally drink in the united states!!! :)
Uni is coming to a close, got two assignments to hand in to prow and then it's just that bloody dissertation!!!!
So the other day my US sim card arrived! :) I had to use scissors to cut it'd own to size myself as I needed a micro sim!! But I've set it up and am ready to top it up! Now I have an international +44 number and a US +1 number which is exciting! It's really easy to just top it up online and see how much your spending, by having two numbers it means I can easily keep in touch with family in the UK and fronds in the US.
The other night myself and about12 others had a big webcam chat thingy, that was really col as it gave us an opportunity to actually hear each other and see people properly rather than assisting people with a picture on Facebook!!
Can't believe how clos sit is now, got loads to do still....
Best be getting to it

VISA's!!!!
Hello,
So yesterday was my appointment at the embassy for the Visa!!
My appointment was at 11am, so i got there around 10:30 and left around 1pm!!!
Here ill give you a run thru of the day.
Firstly you Que up outside (thank god it was not raining) a guy checks your appointment letter and makes sure you didnt have any electronics on you as these cannot be brought in (inc phones!!!) luckily my family decided to come with me to do some shopping so they held on to my things. (no one can come into the embassy with you).
Then another guy checks your passport, then some more queueing. Before you go into like a booth which is security. Its like being at the airport, you bags go thru a scanner, you have to take any jewelry off etc... then you walk through a detector thingy. Then you walk to the embassy.
First your letter is scanned and your given a number (like being at argos) waiting to be called, it was really busy!!! Luckily there was about 5 of us from disney going, so we all found each other and just sat chatting so the time seemed to go fairly quickly :)
When your first called, you go to a desk hand over your paperwork and the guy check it thru, i had a few issues with my photo, so be very aware of this before you go, they are very strict, check out the embassy website on the requirements!! very important, once the supervisor and manager came to see me, i was finally allowed to continue! So i gave my fingerprints (both hands and thumbs, you cant have any cuts or blisters)
At this point your also given a copy of your rights as a worker in the US and an address card for shipment.
Then you sit down again and wait for the number again!
Once your called for the second time, you go to a different desk, this is your 'interview' part, although all i was asked was "so what role have you been given at Disney?" and that was basically it, then i verified my fingers prints and he said i had been approved!!!!
Then you take your address card to another desk to pay for shipping :)
So overall you spend under ten mins with people but are there for hours...............
Obvs worth it tho!!! hahah Cost wise its $140 for the appointment $35 for the processing and £15 for the shipment!!!!!!
Was really good meeting others on the program has gotten me even more excited!!!!
Was exactly 2months yesterday untill i go :)
sooooo excited now...just waiting for the time to pass :)
